DESCRIPTION
LKB is an automatic or manual butterfly valve designed for sanitary applications in stainless steel installations. LKB can be remotely controlled via an actuator or manually operated using a handle.
The actuator is available in three standard versions: normally closed (NC), normally open (NO), and air/air activated (A/A). It is designed so that the axial movement of a piston is converted into a 90° rotation of a shaft.
The actuator torque increases when the valve disc comes into contact with the butterfly valve's sealing ring. The manual operation handle mechanically locks the valve in the open or closed position. Handles for valve sizes DN125 and DN150, designed to lock in two intermediate positions, allow the valve to be set for flow regulation.
