Waste Heat Day: A New Industrial Energy Efficiency Event Debuts in Modena
On February 6, 2025, the city of Modena hosted the very first Waste Heat Day—an event organized by Armstrong International in collaboration with Tekna Parma. The event focused on key topics such as industrial energy efficiency, technological innovation, and decarbonization strategies.
The day featured in-depth discussions on strategic technologies for the future of sustainable industry, including the Circular Thermal® methodology, high-temperature heat pumps, and advanced solutions for waste heat recovery. Special attention was given to current energy transition incentives, crucial tools for supporting companies in achieving their decarbonization goals.
Waste Heat Day highlighted the power of collaboration between industrial manufacturers and technology providers, showing how synergy can accelerate the shift toward more efficient and low-carbon production models.
This successful first edition marks just the beginning—the goal is to make Waste Heat Day a recurring event to raise awareness and promote knowledge around circular thermal energy and sustainable heat management in industry.
